Mary Lucas Faustine paints from her heart and hopes to raise the spirit and consciousness of whomever views her work. Mary attended Maryland Institute,College of Art and graduated from the the San Fransisco Art Institute. She has lived on Maui on and off for over 30 years, raising  3 daughters, gardening , painting, and feeling blessed to be surrounded by the warm and sometimes wild embrace of mother nature.

My paintings in oil and watercolor are simply what ever shakes my spirit.; the garden, my lover, abstract ideas, food, my children, pets.... I am best known for my pet paintings. Every few years an idea for another pet painting swoops down and hangs around in my mind, until I put it on paper. I hear often how these wonderful images bring a tremendous amount of joy and even healing to the viewer. I am doing my part to improve our world, by recognizing and celebrating in our pets an unlimited source for love. They allow us the opportunity to be loved unconditionally. How powerful is that! My work has been displayed in numerous galleries on Maui and has been accepted into juried shows, licensed, and collected the world over, Visit me every Friday in the Botero Lounge at the Grand Wailea Resort and Spa on Maui to view my work, or make an appointment to visit my studio.
