I have always wondered what motivates cats to act as if possessed, running in circles, jumping madly into the air, climbing walls with their tails puffed. Perhaps they are playing with imaginary friends.  I used my eight year daughter to pose as a fairy on our backyard fence, and used  my favorite kitty of all time "Patty Rose" as an ispiration for this painting.  Exactly where fairies come from is debatable. Perhaps they are from Pluto.
